Moses, Israel’s reluctant but faithful leader of ancient Israel has been Yahweh’s representative authority since their remarkable deliverance from Egypt to the boarder of the promised land 40 years later. Following the death of the 1st generation out of Egypt due to their unfaithfulness, the second generation is about to enter the land. Moses takes this opportunity to deliver his final words of advice before handing the robe of leadership to another and breathing his last.

Prior to Moses' death, he takes advantage of one last opportunity to impress upon the Israelites that their future depends on the faithfulness to the Old Covenant of Yahweh's Law (The Mosaic Covenant). Yahweh gives them a choice, Life or Death, Blessings or Curses.
